Women Across Cultures
is a group open to everyone. It offers activities designed to help you learn about life in the United States and other parts of the world and gives you the opportunity to interact with and learn from others. We welcome both international and American women. The group offers a cooperative babysitting service for your children while you attend the meetings. Each month’s schedule will appear on this page as soon as the information is available.
Meetings are held every Friday during the academic year, 10:00 am to 12 noon at the Medical Center Apartments, J-building, 1064 Van Voorhis Road, except for occasional trips. The programs listed will begin at 10:30. Free parking is available. Please ask for a temporary permit.
During the summer, Women Across Cultures meets informally every two weeks at different locations. Meetings are usually from 10:00-12:00 noon. Children are always welcome, and visitors and newcomers are encouraged to join us. Transportation can be arranged.
Please Note:
If Mongalia County Schools are closed due to bad weather, our meeting will be cancelled. If there is a one or two hour delay, we will meet as usual.
