Certification for Notarization
(according to the Hague Convention: Apostille)

To complete the certification process that your government is requiring for your documents, you need to send your notarized document to the West Virginia Secretary of State with an application letter and fee. You can find complete information at the following website: http://www.wvsos.com/execrecords/other/authentication.htm. You will then need to send it to the U.S. Department of State for the Apostille—you can find further information at http://www.state.gov/m/a/auth/.

If you are from Venezuela and requesting this for financial support, you will need to complete the request for the Letter of Good Standing and add something to the effect of “Please include tuition & fees plus living expenses amount for the XX semester. Please notarize.”
